Our OSHA 10-Hour Classes encompass two main tracks: the OSHA 10-Hour Construction Class and the OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Class.
These crucial 10-hour courses are delivered by Paragon’s OSHA-authorized outreach trainer, who conducts group sessions in a classroom environment. Topics covered in this course
The 10-hour safety training course aims to define and outline appropriate responses to safety hazards in the workplace, adhering to OSHA regulations. It serves as a valuable tool to raise awareness among both employers and employees regarding common workplace safety hazards and to equip them with a safety-conscious approach in handling emergency situations.
The course comprehensively covers the following specific topics:
- Introduction to OSHA
- Focus Four hazards and their preventive measures: a. Fall hazards b. Electrocution hazards c. Caught-in or Caught-between hazards d. Struck-by hazards
- Personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Health hazards in construction
- Materials handling, storage, and use
- Hand tools and power tools
- Leading cultural change
Upon successful completion of the course, each participant will be awarded an OSHA 10-Hour U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) course completion card, recognizing their achievement.
